Zaniboni Lighting is seeking a certified MasterCAM Programmer who may be a new graduate or newly certified, provided they have CNC Manufacturing experience. The role involves taking SolidWorks files from Mechanical Engineers and creating setup programs for CNC Mills and Lathes, ensuring efficient manufacturability and tooling recommendations.

Responsibilities

Examine Engineering drawings and ensure manufacturability and practical machining. Provide recommendations for improvement
Create (write), edit or change programs that are efficient and provide best manufacturability and tooling path for each CNC Machine
Assist with CNC Machine Programming edits and set ups for new parts / jobs when needed
Recommend and provide best tooling and part mounting for each part

Qualification

MasterCAM certificationCNC programmingSolidWorks proficiencyCNC Machinist experienceAluminumStainless steel

Required

Certified in MasterCAM
Proficient in reading SolidWorks Engineering files to program in MasterCAM
Experience as a CNC Machinist, competent with job set ups
Must be able to program CNC Mills and CNC Lathes to make simple pieces out of Aluminum and Stainless Steel
Experienced working with aluminum and stainless steel is required
