Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates for commercial projects including retail, hospitality, industrial, and tenant improvement work
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate scopes and quantities
Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids to ensure complete and competitive proposals
Collaborate with project managers and leadership to clarify scope and support preconstruction planning
Participate in budgeting, value‑engineering, and early project strategy discussions
Maintain organized estimate documentation and contribute to process improvements
Represent the company’s values of communication, professionalism, and client‑focused service
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years of estimating experience with a commercial GC or similar construction environment
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans
Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow‑through
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast‑moving environment
