Responsibilities
Assist with wine tasting and tours, ensuring areas are equipped with necessary tools and literature, and maintain cleanliness in all guest and staff areas
Prepare and maintain the Retail Sales Room, manage stock levels for wine, water, and merchandise, and assist guests with purchases
Welcome and check-in guests, manage reservations, and provide necessary items for a seamless guest experience, including special occasion preparations
Keep patio and parking areas clean, maintain displays, and manage outdoor furniture and equipment, such as heaters and umbrellas
Handle orders, reservations, and inquiries through the POS system, ensuring accuracy and providing excellent customer service
Report facility issues urgently and manage trash and recycling removal, supporting overall facility upkeep
Occasionally assist with shipping tasks, perform data entry for wine club, and support fellow staff members in various roles as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
Experience in a team-oriented environment
Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Skilled in writing simple correspondence
Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers
Skilled in carrying-out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Required to be at least 21 years of age or older
Required to work holidays, evenings and weekends. Work schedule subject to change based on needs of the business
Lift and move up to 50 lbs
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation
Required to be 18 years or older
Preferred
Associates degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of hospitality or customer service experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Experience in wine industry
Experience in Point of Sale (Commerce 7 and Tock) systems
