Handle commercial contracting, including but not limited to procurement agreements and banking partner agreements
Turn contracts quickly and efficiently
Establish systems and processes to improve contract workflows
Work with AI tools to enhance contract management efficiency
Make risk-based decisions independently while knowing when to escalate
Navigate a lean team environment with minimal oversight
Qualification
Required
In-house legal experience (not just law firm background)
Ability to work in fast-paced culture and make independent judgment calls
Strong EQ to determine appropriate ownership levels versus escalation needs
Senior enough to handle responsibility but willing to learn new business
US-based candidate required
Preferred
Experience in financial services preferred over other industries
Crypto experience is nice to have but not required
