The Engineer, Process will be responsible for running and controlling multiple solvent extraction circuits, monitoring process metrics, and coordinating with various departments to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Maintaining multiple solvent extraction circuits to be operationally fit and on spec
Present production metrics and operational concerns to upper management
Provide clear and concise slide/graphs in daily production meetings to team
Identify and explain troubleshooting process in a logical manner
Work with operations on daily tasks and process adjustments
Work with electrical and maintenance on troubleshooting or repairing equipment
Work with process controls to fix issues in sequencing or improve reliability for sustainability of circuits
Obtain quotes and place orders for equipment parts, reagents, or contracting work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering fields such as chemical engineering, metallurgical engineering
Experience working in a chemical plant, mining, petroleum, or a similar heavy industrial setting
Familiarity with plant control systems
Experience troubleshooting process upsets and issues in a plant environment
Ability to monitor and adjust for moving trends of flows, concentrations, and pH
Familiarity with industrial equipment and instrumentation (e.g. pumps, valves, controllers, transmitters)
Ability to comprehend engineering drawings and documentation
Capable of creating, reading, and modifying PFDs, P&IDs, and PI Vision pages
Capacity for calculating reagent usages, production throughputs, and mass balances
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio)
Basic knowledge in SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing)
Valid Drivers License to drive company vehicles on and off property
