Marketing Assistant
Long Hagan Huff-Harris is a respected, award winning boutique law firm serving clients across Greater Boston and the South Shore. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant to support the firm’s Marketing Manager across a wide range of marketing initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and strategic initiatives are successfully executed.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Build and format professional presentations and decks for events, workshops, sponsorships, and internal meetings
Translate outlines and concepts into clear, visually engaging slide decks aligned with firm branding
Ensure presentations are polished, accurate, and deadline-ready for live events and external audiences
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to refine messaging, flow, and visual storytelling
Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution, including on-site support across the South Shore, Boston, and Charlestown
Provide hands-on event support, including logistics and staffing responsibilities
Coordinate event materials, signage, and post-event follow-up communications
Assist with hosting weekly networking opportunities on the firm owned boat
Provide communication support for marketing initiatives, events, and internal updates
Assist with referral tracking and data entry within Clio Grow
Support organization and follow-up related to referral sources
Assist with ordering, organizing, and maintaining firm merchandise and marketing materials
Prepare and assemble materials for events, meetings, and community partnerships
Provide administrative and project-based support to the Marketing Manager
Other marketing or business development projects as directed by the Marketing Manager
Assist with timelines, task tracking, and coordination using internal systems (e.g., Monday.com)
Support additional marketing initiatives as needed throughout the year
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required
1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, communications, or a related support role (internships and relevant coursework welcome)
Interest in marketing, event coordination, and professional services environments
Experience or coursework in presentation creation or deck building (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness and availability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support firm events and community initiatives
Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle for event-related travel and materials transport
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed for event setup and coordination
Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment
