Responsibilities
Payroll Administrator will process bi-weekly payroll in Workday Payroll for over 500 employees
Act as one point of contact for all team members for payroll-related questions
Ensure employee new hires, changes, W4, and terminations (Cobra and severance payments), and other deductions are processed accurately and timely across multiple platforms including Workday, OSV, NetSuite, and other financial systems
Review payroll data to ensure accurate processing of wages, tax withholdings, deductions, PTO, and sick accruals
Provide high-level customer service for all inquiries by internal and external parties relating to payroll
Process off-cycle manual payroll checks as needed for terminations and other special payments
Prepare relevant ad-hoc reports and analysis for management as needed
Comply with SOX and other internal controls
Support SOX and other internal and external periodic audits
As a Payroll Administrator, you will work closely with the People Team on benefits enrollment
Track and respond to payroll tax notices, wage orders, and other government correspondences
Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of payroll-related systems, including the coordination of system enhancements and automation of functions
Perform other duties as required to support the Finance department
Qualification
Required
Requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience with full-cycle, multi-state payroll
Experience with Workday payroll required
Advanced Excel skills required
Preferred
NetSuite experience a plus
OneSource Virtual (OSV) experience a plus
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
