Staffing Coordinator and Central Supply (CNA)
Aviata Health Group is looking for a qualified Staffing Coordinator and Central Supply to join their family. The role involves coordinating staffing for nursing staff and managing supplies and equipment necessary for the facility's operations.

Responsibilities
Completes schedule for the Nursing Staff
Completes daily staffing sheets
Interacts with employees to cover daily staffing requirements
Secures coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, as dictated by Director of Nursing
Prepares and completes daily nursing hours report for Executive Director/LNHA
Calculate nursing hours daily to meet PPD requirements and maintains a log of the daily PPD and month to date PPD
Communicates with admissions on a daily basis for census and admission/discharge status of patients
Reviews daily punch detail report on each employee, verifies hours worked, corrects any errors, and identifies trends
Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results
Receive and follow instructions from your supervisor as outlined in our established policies and procedures
Ensure all telephone orders are confirmed with a written purchase order
Ensure all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed and submitted as required in procurement policies and procedures
Assist in preparing correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc., and return to vendor as required
Assist in developing methods for determining quantity of supplies and equipment required
Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the purchasing agent concerning procurement procedures as directed
Ensure various departments are properly charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposes
Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed
Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures
Ensure that supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored
Organize storage, issue and delivery of supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures
Check invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc., with incoming merchandise
Ensure inventory is updated as required, when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment
Fill requisitions, as approved, and file in accordance with established policies
Qualification
Required
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent
Minimum (1) one year of experience in the position, in a long-term care or other medical settings preferred
You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
Preferred
Florida Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA
Staffing experience in the medical field
Long Term Care/ Skilled Nursing Experience
Associate's degree preferred but not required
