They are seeking an AI Engineering/Data Science Intern to contribute to their AI and machine learning initiatives, working alongside data science and AI applications teams to solve problems and derive insights from data.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities
Creating exploratory data analysis and visualizations
Building machine learning models to improve customer experience or key processes
Using NLP and LLMs to interpret textual data and work with conversational interfaces
Writing scripts and code to deploy and tune AI applications
Qualification
Required
Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or related degree
Data querying and transformation with SQL and Python
Coding software that works with data
Data exploration and visualization
Familiarity with the workings of LLMs and prompt engineering
Machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and predictive modeling
Exposure to cloud-based computing environments such as AWS and GCP
Preferred
Clear communicators with the team and stakeholders
Analytical and perceptive of patterns
Strong in understanding underlying math and algorithms
Capable of writing high-quality code
Creative in finding relevant and novel approaches
Productive in a dynamic setting
Able to work independently and in small teams
