Responsibilities
Create, submit, and manage domestic and international purchase orders within the company ERP system for external suppliers
Ensure all purchase orders are issued accurately and on time, with correct specifications, quantities, costs, and due dates
Place and manage internal production orders for manufacturing work at the plant level
Partner with the Purchasing Lead and Operational Lead to ensure full production and sewing requirements are properly entered and tracked
Ensure all Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) orders reflected on Figma boards are placed in a timely and accurate manner
Collaborate with the Demand Planner to place all Green Grass orders with accurate quantities and confirmed delivery timelines
Submit purchase orders through the 3PL ordering system to support effective inventory transfer and warehouse management
Manage all product creation and setup requirements to ensure accurate inventory entry in the ERP system, including:
Creating and maintaining product SKUs within the company line plan
Entering SKUs accurately into the ERP system
Ensuring proper product mapping for reporting, fulfillment, and inventory tracking
Serve as a liaison between Marketing and Manufacturing to ensure photo samples are ordered, produced, and delivered on schedule
Maintain production, sample, and photo calendars, keeping catalogs and timelines up to date
Work closely with Design and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure products are available at the right place and time to support launches and campaigns
Support Operations with day-to-day coordination of domestic vendors and suppliers
Assist in maintaining active vendor relationships and up-to-date vendor logs
Track and report open purchase orders, costs, lead times, and production timelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, operations, or a related role
Experience working with ERP systems and purchase order management
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Design, and external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
Preferred
Experience working with ERP systems and purchase order management
Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, inventory management, or 3PL systems
Experience in apparel, consumer goods, or manufacturing environments
