Responsibilities
Perform E-Verification and ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements
Process and verify payroll data using ADP and/or Paychex systems
Handle data entry and validation for employee and payroll records
Support HR onboarding activities, including new hire documentation and verification
Collect, review, and reconcile employee timesheets
Prepare and issue client invoices based on approved timesheets
Manage and validate W-9, I-9, 1099, and related compliance documents
Ensure multi-state compliance, including UID filings and regulatory requirements
Perform basic accounting functions, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
Maintain accurate accounting books and records in QuickBooks
Assist with accounting reconciliations and routine financial verification tasks
Use Excel for data tracking, reconciliation, and reporting
Support audits and internal verification processes as required
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in payroll processing, accounting, or compliance roles
Hands-on experience with E-Verification and employment eligibility processes
Strong working knowledge of ADP and/or Paychex payroll systems
Experience handling multi-state compliance and UID requirements
Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory)
Experience with W-9, I-9, 1099 documentation and invoicing
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations
Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
