Building Automation Designer and Programmer

Responsibilities
Organize, file, and track all project coordination and correspondence
Accurate documentation to successfully track projects, including requests for change orders, change orders, project close-out (including timely processing of O&M s and asbuilt packages)
Learn all software programs utilized in the day-to-day business operations of the company
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Building Automation Programming and/or Design
BS Building Automation Systems, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, Associates Degree in Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electronics or equivalent job experience in the controls industry
5+ years of experience programming BAS and integrating with third party equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced computer skills, including creating graphics for commercial BAS graphical user interfaces
Solid knowledge and practical experience with Computer Networks and advanced knowledge and practical experience of BAS Networks
Advanced knowledge of the controls concepts and strategies for commercial building HVAC mechanical systems
Strong understanding of commercial building Mechanical & Electrical operations
Understanding and practical experience with the Electrical and Electronics concepts associated with BAS Direct Digital Control Systems (DDC)
Ability to proficiently read Mechanical and Electrical blueprints
Physical ability to walk construction sites, including stairs and ladders
Practical experience with commercial building construction site conditions, layouts, and safety practices
Organized, timely, and respectful programmer with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or related experience
Short- and long-term processing abilities
Ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements, company policies and procedures, project, contractual requirements, and to provide clear and accurate documentation
