The internship provides an opportunity to support long-term planning for the company’s natural gas systems, collaborate with stakeholders, and gain practical experience.

Responsibilities
Contribute to long-term reliability of the Company’s natural gas systems
Learn to use various planning tools including hydraulic modeling software
Assist with the Company’s annual Design Day planning process
Develop processes to support strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
Current student, Junior status (as of Fall 2026) or higher
Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
Able to commute to the service centers in Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN
Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the fall (up to 20 hours a week)
Preferred
3.0 GPA (out of a 4.0 scale) or higher
Completed 2 years of undergraduate coursework
Experience or Proficiency with engineering principles, including fluid dynamics
