Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software
Set operational specifications, and formulate and analyze software requirements
May design embedded systems software
Enterprise deployment of PLM applications
Applications include Teamcenter, Visualization, NX, and other integrated tools
Knowledge of PowerShell and MSI installations is required
Experienced in end user deployments is also required
Develop computer systems specifications that address business requirements that fit with the company’s system architecture standards
Establish and document system parameters and formats
Ensure hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinate and/or modify system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities
Revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage
Ensure the Systems Development Life Cycle process is adhered to and support System Engineers with requirements analysis, specification development, system design and testing associated with implementation and support of the Siemens Product Lifecycle Management suite
Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts to the design and development of solutions to complex application problems and application administration issues
Maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures at a level representative of a fortune 500 company
Develop and foster collaborative working relationships with the customer, project managers and team members
Interact with junior and mid-level personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations
Maintain Teamcenter/NX/Vis applications documentation, tuning launcher and installer performance and installing Tc/Vis/NX manually when Symantec fails
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience
One of the following may be used as an equivalent to Bachelor's Degree for Information Technology Related Positions Only: NNS Apprentice School graduate, Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate, Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience, Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience, High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience, High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience, A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of PowerShell and MSI installations is required
Experienced in end user deployments is also required
