Responsibilities
Set up and run CNC machines (lathes and mills) to produce consistent quality products
Develop and maintain CNC programs for production orders
Maintain and update program files
Inspect products to ensure compliance with CAD prints and ISO 9001 standards
Complete process inspection sheets and required documentation
Perform general machine maintenance (oil, coolant, cleanliness)
Use tools and supplies properly (inserts, drills, coolant, etc.)
Clean machines and work areas
Support other departments as needed based on workload
Participate in safety meetings, quality meetings, and training sessions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience
Experience operating CNC lathes and mills
Machine tool programming experience
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings/prints
Strong understanding of machining theory and practices
Experience working in Lean manufacturing environments
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
High School Diploma or GED
Vocational training as a CNC Journeyman Machinist
Strong math and calculation skills
Ability to read, proofread, and interpret technical documentation
Ability to work 100% onsite in Stafford, TX
Preferred
Experience with ISO-certified manufacturing environments
