Responsibilities
Support early-stage financing transactions focusing on venture capital deals, including equity rounds and SAFEs
Review transaction documents, issue spotting, and risk assessment
Coordinate with internal finance partners, portfolio companies, and outside counsel
Respond to portfolio company, shareholder, and board-related requests
Assist with board prep and manage closing logistics
Help keep transactions moving efficiently
Qualification
Required
Prior venture capital experience, ideally with approximately 2-3 years of venture capital-focused work supporting early-stage financings
Experience rooted in venture capital transactions rather than general corporate or M&A work
Collaborative, proactive, and low ego
Comfortable jumping in to help across both legal and administrative work
Asks questions and communicates clearly
Operates well in a small, fast-moving environment
Preferred
Big Law experience supporting venture capital transactions
