The Logistics Intern will provide financial analysis and support to the Logistics and Customer Success team, focusing on accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and process improvements.

Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for freight, warehousing, import, and other logistics costs
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities
Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future costs and budgets
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to logistics operations
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data
Utilize data visualization tools to present insights in a clear and concise manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce costs
Work with the team to automate manual tasks and leverage technology to optimize workflows
Receive and process customer orders, ensuring orders meet company policies relating to pricing, promotions, lead time, weight, etc
Identify and resolve service issues. Quickly identify the source of a problem, gather and analyze information related to the issue, and devise a solution that best meets both the company’s and the customer’s needs
Analytical projects to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in data science, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Knowledge of logistics operations, including freight, warehousing, imports, and transportation is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) highly preferred
