Serve a caseload of approximately 40-45 students, providing evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring to address sensory processing, motor, and functional needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students' academic and functional goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
active Occupational Therapist license
1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience
Valid or eligibility to obtain New Mexico Resident Licensed Therapist (RLD) and New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) licenses
Demonstrated ability to support gross and fine motor skill development
Ability to work effectively onsite; virtual work is not supported for this role
Commitment to working 37.5 hours per week on a full-time basis
Preferred
Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy
