They are seeking an experienced Design and Development Manager to oversee design and development from concept through production across all categories, ensuring the execution of collections meets high standards of luxury quality.

Responsibilities
Oversee design and development from concept through production across all categories
Manage seasonal development calendars, milestones, and deliverables to ensure tight deadlines are met
Review and comment on tech packs, samples, fittings, and revisions with a strong eye for luxury quality and construction
Serve as a primary point of contact with factories and raw material suppliers, ensuring clear communication of design intent, raw materials, construction details, and timelines
Collaborate effectively with the design and production teams and assist other team members as needed
Qualification
Required
6-10 years of experience in design and/or product development; luxury or contemporary womenswear experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, materials, and luxury finishing
Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines
Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a small team
Strong proficiency Adobe Creative Cloud suite, tech packs, BOMs, and Zedonk or other production software
Must be based in NYC and available to work full-time on site
