Automation Service Technician

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive equipment inspections to verify safety compliance, operational efficiency, and overall equipment condition
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and communication/control systems, including 480V and low-voltage circuits
Perform time-and-material (T&M) repairs efficiently while providing accurate labor and parts documentation
Identify and recommend repairs, part replacements, or system upgrades to ensure optimal equipment performance
Accurately document all service activities, findings, and recommendations for invoicing and record-keeping
Manage and maintain proper van inventory levels to ensure parts availability and reduce service delays
Complete detailed service write-ups, including diagnostics, corrective actions, and recommendations
Perform quality control checks on each job to ensure system functionality, safety, and completeness
Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding job status, completion, and recommendations
Identify customer business needs and relay potential growth opportunities to the sales team
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on Modula VLM systems and other automated equipment at customer sites
Maintain clean and organized work areas at customer sites and inside the company vehicle
Inspect and maintain company vehicle per service manual guidelines
Drive safely and responsibly, maintaining a professional image on and off the job site
Represent Advanced Intralogistics with professionalism and a customer-focused approach
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Perform on-site inspections, diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and installations of automated equipment
Conduct comprehensive equipment inspections to verify safety compliance, operational efficiency, and overall equipment condition
