Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining item costs to assure accuracy of ingredient costs and labor and overhead content
Analyzes/Audit actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Responsible for monitoring production yield and comparison to standard yield
Monitors and reports on the performance of labor and overhead standards as compared to actual costs
Participates in establishing manufacturing performance standards while leveraging the ERP system
Monitoring unit cost and production cost variances
Generates Ad hoc financial analysis as required by management for all aspects of the business
Collects data to determine the cost of and differences between the various manufacturing processes to provide support on variances
Developing and distributing weekly/monthly KPI reports for Supply Chain
Participate in other duties/projects as assigned by management
In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, the successful candidate will work closely with our operations team in Texas to ensure efficient and cost effective startup of our newly built gummy production facility and distribution center
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field
Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost specialist or similar role
Computer skills – MO Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for process improvement
Preferred
ERP Application knowledge in the manufacturing space, SAP preferred
