Avionics Engineering Intern
Long Wall Company, established in 2025, focuses on advancing missile defense technology for the U.S. and its allies. They are seeking an Avionics Engineering Intern who is eager to solve problems, take ownership of their work, and contribute to the design, development, qualification, and flight of hardware.

Take on roles in the design, development, qualification, build, and flight of your hardware
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in any engineering discipline or computer science at a four-year accredited university
Involvement as a member of a student-led extracurricular engineering project, for example: Rocket Team, Formula SAE or BAJA SAE, AIAA Design/Build/Fly, Solar Car, Autonomous vehicles and Robotics, Coding Challenges
Work experience at a university in a lab research environment, or through a prior relevant internship
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
Experience using lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and function generators
GPA of 3.5 or greater
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to use a computer to complete assignments
Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone, and via telepresence
Ability to pick up to 50lbs
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
US person status (including US citizens, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted U.S. asylum status, or individuals admitted in U.S. refugee status) is a required qualification for this position
