Responsibilities
Identify technical problems with suppliers and implement corrective actions using MCAR
Serve as the liaison for suppliers and manage the supply chain for Distribution Centre and Manufacturing sites
Monitor suppliers' performance to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
Increase quality reliability and regulate product transition requirements using engineering skills
Participate in local Quality Audits and Regulatory Compliance audits
Maintain the Suppliers Quality Ranking System
Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide feedback, and manage process controls
Establish schedules for reviewing supplier and quality performance
Report and maintain accurate quality records, certifications, and database screens
Prioritize critical cases addressing customer complaints related to delivered products
Support quality improvement processes/projects at internal or external sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a technical/science field; Master's degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years' experience in Supplier/Supply Chain quality roles, with experience in Distribution Centers and Product Manufacturing processes preferred
Solid technical knowledge of products, systems, and complex integrated solutions
In-depth understanding of quality standards and quality improvement methods
Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; certification as a Belt is an advantage
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to follow through on plans
Good communication and negotiation skills
Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
Basic quality tools background (5 Why, Fishbone, Histogram)
Industry experience is required
US Citizen only with a valid passport
4-year degree required
Preferred
Experience with supplier performance management
Ability to support travel to Mexico as needed for site support
Industry experience in quality assurance and supply chain roles
