Sepsis Program Coordinator RN

The RN - Sepsis Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating the Sepsis program while collaborating with medical staff to enhance patient care and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the Sepsis program
Facilitate the development, implementation, and ongoing adherence of Sepsis program protocols and therapies as outlined by CMS
Collaborate with medical and hospital staff to provide multidisciplinary care to patients with a diagnosis of sepsis
Review clinical data to improve outcomes
Provide education and clinical expertise to care team with the expectation of routine, on-site presence to all Baptist Health facilities to coordinate compliance and performance improvement
May have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role
Qualification
Required
Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree required
At least 3 years nursing experience required
At least 1-year in a role responsible for working with managing projects, educating, or supervising others
Previous program management experience
Must have experience in or actively involved in system wide/multi-disciplinary committees/projects
Active RN licensure required
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
Must be able to meet strict deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills
Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance
Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
Ability to observe, assesses, and record work, safety and infection control standards
Preferred
CPHQ or Project Management certification preferred
