Responsibilities

Lead and oversee mission-critical SATCOM programs supporting DoD and related federal customers

Manage full lifecycle program management: planning and execution, resource allocation, budget oversight, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of complex, globally deployable systems

Manage multi-site operations and maintenance, coordinate logistics and COMSEC requirements, support overseas travel/deployments, and drive business growth by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and fostering collaboration across teams and partners

Required

Active Secret clearance (or higher) required

Proven expertise in SATCOM systems (commercial and DoD), including familiarity with DISA terminals, DKET terminals, and resilient architectures (e.g., Starshield or similar low-earth orbit/secure SATCOM solutions)

Demonstrated experience overseeing globally deployable Field Service Representatives (FSRs), multi-site operations and maintenance, logistics sustainment, COMSEC handling, and frequent overseas travel in support of DoD missions

Strong track record as Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, or Site Lead in defense contracting or military environments

Excellent program management, project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, financial tracking, and timeline management skills

Proficiency in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, relationship-building with clients/stakeholders, risk identification/mitigation, problem-solving, and continuous process improvement

Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences

Knowledge of federal contracting processes (e.g., DoD acquisition, FAR/DFARS) is highly desirable

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Communications, or a related field

Preferred

Military veteran preferred, with successful leadership in dynamic, high-stakes programs

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Experience working in diverse, culturally rich environments is a plus
