Responsibilities
Define and execute electrical engineering strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements
Lead and develop electrical engineers and test technicians
Oversee design, development, testing, and validation of electrical systems for substations, switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and power distribution
Provide technical leadership on protection & control systems, medium- and low-voltage systems, and power systems analysis
Ensure compliance with ANSI, IEEE, NEC, and applicable industry standards
Drive design-for-manufacturability in collaboration with mechanical, manufacturing, and project teams
Manage engineering budgets, schedules, and resources
Support customer-facing technical discussions and cross-functional initiatives to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction
Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
10+ years of electrical engineering experience
5+ years in an engineering leadership role
Strong experience with protection & control systems and substation electrical design
Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex engineering projects
Strong communication and decision-making skills
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license
