Responsibilities
Define and drive CapCut’s global social media creative direction and storytelling framework to position CapCut as the ultimate AI-powered content creation suite
Own CapCut’s official presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms
Translate brand positioning, AI storytelling, feature launches, cultural moments, and user insights into clear social narratives and content strategies
Own social performance end to end, balancing data-informed insights with strong creative judgment to continuously evolve strategy, execution, and creative standards
Develop platform-original creative ideas that spark engagement, conversation, and shareability
Leverage trends, memes, formats, and social mechanics to create viral moments without compromising brand tone
Build strong community energy through interactive formats, comments strategy, creator conversations, and social-first campaigns
Lead UGC-driven feature launches for features such as AI effects, Photo editing tools, Fonts/Stickers
Work with Product Marketing and XFNs to design integrated social content around major product releases, cultural moments, IP collaborations, and partnerships
Manage and collaborate with external creative partners and content vendors
Ensure high-quality execution while continuously optimizing creative formats per platform
Push partners beyond execution toward original, culturally relevant ideas
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in social media marketing
Bachelor's degree or above
basic video editing and design skills required
A globally experienced strategist with strong creative instincts and cultural sensitivity
experienced in building high-quality brand social accounts at scale
Preferred
Passionate about editing and content creation
highly curious and familiar with AI-powered creative tools
Strong in both strategy, data, and creative execution
with a sharp eye for platform nuances and creative details
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
able to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural global team environment
