Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disturbances, suspected theft activity, and medical incidents, and coordinate with on-site management and/or public responders as directed
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances and exits, cart corrals, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, complete required reports, and communicate observations promptly using radios, phones, and/or other approved systems
Support loss prevention and operations by documenting incidents, preserving observations, and assisting with crowd flow, line management, and special events or peak shopping periods as assigned
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
