They are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technical Analyst to test applications, document procedures, and support quality assurance efforts for MBS Systems used by college bookstores.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test scripts based on functional requirements and system designs

Execute testing procedures, document results, and communicate defects or inconsistencies to the project team

Perform various types of testing throughout the software development lifecycle

Collaborate with MBS Systems staff to understand application issues and user needs

Assist in resolving Tier 2 support issues within the assigned MBS Systems application area

Perform additional responsibilities as required

Required

Solid understanding of quality assurance testing principles and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Technical experience may include Windows-based systems, programming languages, retail web commerce, mobile devices, hardware systems, IBM iSeries/AS400, college bookstore operations, Windows-based POS applications, PCI standards, and related technologies (based on assigned application)
