Responsibilities
Provides direct support to the Vice Provost for Academic Effectiveness
Handles high pressure and sensitive matters and projects for the Office of the Provost as necessary
Acts as a liaison between the Office of the Provost, and the colleges/departments on assigned areas, including academic program review, assessment, accreditation, IT, and special projects
Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Performs day-to-day administration and coordination of department responsibilities, including scheduling meetings, drafting documents, answering phones, organizing workshops, and other office tasks
Assists in the selection and/or training of assigned staff, and provides guidance on workflow and procedural compliance
Prepares and maintains statistical and operational reports
Assists with tracking, submitting, and processing academic reports and documents to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for the Norman Campus
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
36 months project management and supervisory experience over staff or programs
Experience in drafting, updating, and interpreting policy
Advanced computer skills with broad knowledge of business software
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Detail-oriented for accuracy of data and information
General math or finance skills
Familiarity with campus and University hiring processing
Experience implementing and managing large, ongoing projects or programs
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines
Highly Organized
Preferred
Knowledge of general University financial policies
Familiarity with campus and University hiring processes
