This role will provide oversight, coordination and mentoring of the Visual Exam operations to support waste characterization and certification activities.

Responsibilities
Recruit and hire staff as needed to support VE mission
Work with CCP local management to ensure VE team performance is meeting expectations
Support LATA Lead Operators at each site with administrative functions
Support CCP local management with implementation of training programs as well as mentoring on the operational environments involved with the generation, internal transport and packaging of the waste
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in plutonium operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory's PF-4
5+ years' experience in supervising radiological operations in PF-4 at First Line Manager (FLM) or Group Leader
Experience conducting drum-out operations
Strong demonstrated ability to mentor and develop new staff
Ability to obtain DOE Q clearance
