Yard Jockey (Non-CDL)
Ferguson is North America’s leading value-added distributor across various markets, and they are seeking a Yard Jockey to help manage trailer movements and yard operations. The role involves moving trailers, performing yard audits, and ensuring safety compliance while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Correctly move trailers in and out of dock with yard goats
Responsible for drop and hook
Accurately perform yard audits at end of shift
Proper pre- and post-trip inspections and submitting reports indicating truck conditions
Adhere to guidelines of safety-sensitive functions pertaining to job responsibilities within yard
Request and complete trailer moves in the Yard Management System (YMS)
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
0-3 years Warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred, but not required
Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic
High attention to detail
Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly
Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly
Ability to read, understand, and demonstrate safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
