Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and support secure enterprise network and network security infrastructure
Serve as a subject matter expert for next-generation firewalls and network security platforms
Design, configure, and support routing, switching, and SD-WAN solutions
Support campus LAN, data center networking, and wireless infrastructure
Ensure secure connectivity across office, data center, and manufacturing environments
Monitor network performance, availability, and security; troubleshoot complex issues
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams on network security initiatives
Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts
Develop and maintain network and security documentation, standards, and diagrams
Support change management, upgrades, and lifecycle planning activities
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in enterprise network and network security engineering
Strong expertise with next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point)
Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and SD-WAN technologies
Experience supporting campus, data center, and wireless networks
Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, multi-site environments
Ability to operate independently and provide technical leadership in a remote setting
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments
Knowledge of network security best practices and zero-trust principles
Experience with network monitoring and security tools
Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, etc.)
