Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy software for operational use in the field
Work with a small team
Adapt and learn new technologies
Apply software best practices
Collaborate in rapid development cycles
Utilize C++ and Python for software development
Engage in software design and development for deployed real-world systems

Required

BS/MS in computer science, software, or computer engineering, or an equivalent field
Prior employment experience with software application development (3-5+ years)
Proficiency with Python development, libraries, and environments
C/C++ experience
Strong software design and development skills with a focus on deployed real-world systems
Github/Gitlab and industry standard software development tools/environments
Strong communication skills
Experience working with a team in rapid development cycles

Preferred

CUDA / GPU Programming
Digital Signal Processing
Service oriented architecture or microservice architecture
Message bus architectures or Pub/Sub messaging (e.g. kafka)
Docker / Containerization / Kubernetes
Video processing and streaming protocols
AWS development and deployment
Database usage, design, and optimization
Experience with one or several common machine learning, computer vision, or scientific data processing toolboxes / libraries
Familiarity with web client development frameworks
