Responsibilities
Manage civil and commercial litigation matters
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses
Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, court proceedings, and trials
Develop a case strategy and participate in dispute resolution proceedings
Assist with transactional matters, including business contracts, real estate transactions, nonprofit counsel, estate planning, and probate
Maintain client relationships and provide responsive, practical legal counsel across multiple practice areas
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive, organized, and committed to professional growth
