Responsibilities
Manage one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity from beginning to end
Communicate and collaborate effectively within a matrix organizational structure
Adhere to Client processes to ensure project artifacts and deliverables meet standards
Lead assigned IT PMO projects with minimal supervision
Work with the project team to implement best-in-class applications and enhancements
Organize and facilitate status updates, PowerPoint presentations, project schedules using MS Project, financial reporting, and risk management
Provide project deliverables, identify project risks, and organize workshops and training venues
Ensure projects are delivered with quality and maintain communication at C-Suite level
Control project scope, cost, and schedule while understanding the triple constraints of a project
Conduct weekly status reviews with the project team and update stakeholders via reports and presentations
Maintain project governance with regular status meetings and reports, stand-ups, and review sessions
Screen projects for risks, actions, issues, decisions, financial viability, and opportunities for sustainable improvement
Work with multiple vendors to ensure alignment with Client deliverables, SOW, invoicing, and timeline
Collaborate with Financial Analyst to validate financial-related reporting and liaise with project leadership about budget, forecast, accruals, and reclassifications
Update project forecast and submit accruals and reclassifications to maintain project financial standards
Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create, maintain, and store project documentation and records
Define, teach, and enforce good project management practices with the project team
Encourage and support escalations, following escalation and change control processes
Engage in building consensus, developing contingency plans, and providing recommended solutions
Lead project teams in strategic meetings and follow up with meeting minutes
Qualification
Required
8-10 years of experience managing SAP Finance module software and other large ERP/Oracle/Tagetik systems
Tagetik Implementation experience
Deep financial expertise
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with C-Suite executives and all organizational levels
PMP certification
Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects and multi-disciplinary teams across functional workstreams
Proven experience managing implementation projects with responsibilities shared across multiple system integrators, vendors, and consulting companies
Proven experience leading financial transformation projects, Tagetik, enterprise software releases, SAP ERP implementation projects, and/or business process re-engineering projects
Understanding of SDLC and ability to work in an agile-like environment
Proficient in Microsoft Project and creating PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional time management skills
Ability to identify and document issues, risks, and problems
Self-motivated, friendly, assertive, and able to work under pressure
Preferred
Previous finance experience
Experience in an Information Technology environment
Energy sector experience
Experience using and conducting reporting from qTest and tracking QA and UAT efforts from large-scale enterprise projects
Master's degree
