Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and local first responders as needed
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
Control access by monitoring doors, checking identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and directing guests to appropriate check-in points per site policy
Complete required reports and documentation, including incident reports and patrol activity logs, and communicate status updates during shift turnovers and/or via established reporting channels

Required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred

Customer Service Experience is preferred
Guard Card/License is preferred
Alarm Panel Experience is preferred
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred
