Release Manager
Genesis10 is a leading staffing firm in the U.S. currently seeking a Release Manager for a client in the financial industry. The role involves overseeing release planning, ensuring compliance with change management standards, mentoring team members, and coordinating with various teams for successful releases.

Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end release planning, coordination, and execution across multiple applications and domains
Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management standards, drive operational excellence, and manage risks while supporting Agile delivery
Mentor team members, identify process gaps, and collaborate with senior technology leaders to achieve strategic goals
Lead and manage release planning, scheduling, and execution for multiple applications at domain or executive level
Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management and MRA 2 guidelines
Identify process gaps, risks, and implement operational excellence improvements
Coordinate with development, deployment, and support teams for successful releases
Mentor new team members and promote best practices in release and change management
Provide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders on release status, risks, and dependencies
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years' experience in Project/Program Management
Change Managers
In-take and financial management
Agile Methodologies
Significant experience managing initiative financials
Well versed in Project Management within a Scaled Agile environment
Working knowledge and experience managing project leveraging Scaled Agile methodologies
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects at various stages of the project life cycle
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation engagement skills including presenting to LOB senior leaders and financial/legal/compliance/risk partners
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, adaptation, and conflict-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead meetings, follow-up, negotiate and resolve ambiguity
Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization
Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlines
Ability to work with disparate teams globally
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-specific environment
Strong experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred
Release and Change Management tools: ITSM Remedy Change Management
Compliance expertise: MRA 2 guidelines, Enterprise Change Management standards
Agile Frameworks: Scrum, SAFe, and Agile principles
Collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Teams
Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and risk management capabilities
