Responsibilities

As Satellite Flight Dynamics Systems Engineer, you’ll join a cross functional team supporting our nation's missile defense initiatives

Qualification

Flight dynamics managementCollision avoidanceOrbit determination methodsAutomated flight dynamics workflowsA.I. solutions FreeflyerSpacecraft anomaly supportSoft skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred

Agile experience
Flight dynamics management experience (preferrably related to larger space constellations)
Collision avoidance, station keeping, orbit insertion, de-orbit, LEOPs support
Orbit determination methods
Space to ground contact planning
Knowledge of automated flight dynamics operational workflows (and related development)
Knowledge of A.I. solutions Freeflyer and/or Meridian
Knowledge of constellation situation awareness and trending analysis methods and tools
Spacecraft anomaly support experience
Constellation design experience
