Responsibilities
Prepare quotes and RFQs for customers and outside sales
Match customers need standard product solutions (training provided)
Communicate clearly with customers, sales, and internal teams
Track quotes, orders, and updates in our CRM
Support order entry, delivery timelines, and follow-ups
Spot simple cross-sell or up-sell opportunities
Build hands-on knowledge of instrumentation, valves, actuation, gas detection, and services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering), Business Degree with ability to provide technical solutions or equivalent experience preferred
0–2 years relevant experience; internships, co-ops, or technical coursework acceptable
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM platforms desirable
Able to follow documented procedures, learn vendor sizing tools, communicate professionally, and escalate appropriately
Preferred
Associate degree plus 1–3 years hands-on technical experience (field tech, commissioning tech, instrumentation technician)
Technical certificate programs, bootcamps, or trade school with relevant coursework and demonstrable practical work
