Event/Festival Team Intern

Infamous PR is seeking highly-motivated individuals for its internship program focused on music events and festivals. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the music PR industry, participating in tasks such as media outreach, research, and on-site event assistance.

Responsibilities

Reporting / tracking weekly client campaign wins across multiple platforms
Research background information for upcoming event PR campaigns
Research media and content creator/influencer targets across multiple platforms for current/upcoming event PR campaigns
Drafting and sending pitches to media related to music events/festivals
Drafting and sending out press releases to media for nationwide campaigns
Establishing relationships with members of the media & press community
Researching, creating, and building lists of relevant contacts
Participating in weekly staff meetings and brainstorms, both with the internal events team and wider INFAMOUS team
Helping to manage press requests and press lists for events/festivals
Assisting the INFAMOUS team on-site at music festivals where needed
Directly assisting publicists with a number of other tasks

Highly-motivated individuals
Willingness to learn the in-and-outs of working in the music PR industry
Ability to report/track weekly client campaign wins across multiple platforms
Research background information for upcoming event PR campaigns
Research media and content creator/influencer targets across multiple platforms for current/upcoming event PR campaigns
Drafting and sending pitches to media related to music events/festivals
Drafting and sending out press releases to media for nationwide campaigns
Establishing relationships with members of the media & press community

Helping to manage press requests and press lists for events/festivals
Assisting the INFAMOUS team on-site at music festivals where needed

Ability to work remotely 3 days a week for 6-8 hours
Communicating via Slack, email, and phone

Experience in the event/festival world
