Head of Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing: Identify and qualify high-performance vendors for complex machining, PCB assembly, and specialized electro-mechanical components (motors, gears, sensors)
BOM & Lifecycle Management: Own the Bill of Materials (BOM) from prototype to mass production. Partner with R&D to ensure component availability and manage end-of-life (EOL) risks for electronic parts
Demand Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to build data-driven forecasts, ensuring long-lead items are secured well in advance of production needs
Cost Reduction & Negotiation: Lead aggressive "Should-Cost" modeling and annual price negotiations to improve margins as volume increases
Operational Procurement: Oversee the full PO lifecycle, managing inbound logistics, customs, and freight to ensure 100% on-time delivery to our assembly floor
Risk Mitigation: Develop a resilient multi-source strategy for mission-critical parts to insulate HEN from global supply chain disruptions
Qualification
Required
7-10+ years in supply chain or strategic sourcing within a high-growth hardware or deep-tech environment
Ability to interpret engineering drawings (SolidWorks) and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes for mechanical and electronic assemblies
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Odoo, SAP) and advanced Excel/data modeling for inventory planning
Experience scaling a supply chain through rapid revenue growth phases
B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
