Paid Media Strategist
elk Marketing is a fast-growing digital agency focused on delivering profitable results for eCommerce and B2B brands. The Paid Media Strategist will develop and manage paid media campaigns across various platforms, lead client relationships, and optimize performance to drive growth.
Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and scale Google Ads + Meta campaigns (Search, Shopping, PMax, DPA, ASC+, and any new campaign types that are rapidly emerging)
Build clear, strategic roadmaps aligned with client business goals
Audit and structure accounts to optimize for ROAS and profitability
Write and test ad creative (copy, hooks, headlines)
Lead weekly client calls and present reporting, insights, and next steps
Collaborate with SEO, design, CRO, and email teams to align cross-channel strategies
Manage budgets from $10K to $500K+ per month
Qualification
Required
5+ years managing Paid Search and Paid Social, especially for eCommerce brands and B2B campaigns
Proven success scaling ad accounts with minimal oversight
Deep understanding of shopping feeds for implementation across Google and Meta (eg. Google PMax, Shopping, and Meta DPAs)
Familiarity with landing page CRO best practices and collaboration with dev/design teams
Strong client-facing communication skills
Solid grasp of attribution tools (GA4, Triple Whale, Looker Studio, etc.)
Experience with Shopify, Asana, Slack, and G Suite
Preferred
Fluent with CTV and retail media (Walmart, Amazon (Amazon Ads and DSP)), Microsoft, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn
Tracking, pixel, GTM, CAPI setup and configuration expertise
Looker Studio Dashboard configuration and design
