Responsibilities

Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with organizational goals, growth plans, and values
Serve as an advisor to the leadership team, providing insight on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management
Partner closely with executives to forecast future capability needs and drive scalable HR initiatives
Direct and lead all People operations including compensation & benefits, inclusive of planning, leveling, implementation of pay programs, and evaluation and administration of benefit programs/401k
Evaluate and implement best practices for HRIS systems and management
Plan and execute performance management practices and annual cycles
Develop sound organizational policies and communications plans
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and unique customer contract requirements
Standardize and optimize HR processes, documentation, and analytics
Oversee and guide recruitment strategies for technical, engineering, operations, and corporate roles
Strengthen employer branding and promote as a destination workplace in the space and Earth observation industries
Develop robust onboarding programs that accelerate integration and productivity
Foster a high-performance, mission-driven culture aligned with the company’s values
Lead engagement programs, recognition frameworks, and leadership development pathways
Manage employee relations with a balanced, people-centric, and business-focused approach
Mentor and develop a high-performing HR team
Build HR’s operational capacity to keep pace with rapid growth
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Customer Delivery, Finance, IT, Legal, and other key departments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field
10+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally in aerospace or high-growth technology organizations
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies in scaling organization
Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance frameworks, organizational development, and talent management
Experience building and leading distributed teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change-management skills
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Preferred

Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, SPHR)
Experience in aerospace, defense, space technology, or deep-tech environments
Demonstrated success in scaling HR functions during periods of rapid growth
Familiarity with security clearance requirements, or government contracting environments
