Supply Chain Manager (S&OP Planning & Inventory Control)

Responsibilities
Lead the monthly S&OP cadence, facilitating cross-functional meetings with Sales, Finance, and Operations to reach a consensus demand-supply plan
Bridge the gap between short-term operational execution and long-term strategic goals
Drive planning maturity and continuous improvement across the organization's S&OP governance
Collaborate closely with the Finance department to ensure the S&OP plan aligns with the company’s annual financial budget and rolling forecasts
Own and report on key metrics, specifically Order Fill Rate, Inventory Turns, and Forecast Accuracy. Drive continuous improvement actions to achieve and exceed KPI targets
Conduct root-cause analysis on KPI variances and implement corrective actions to improve service levels
Monitor and communicate supply chain performance to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with financial targets
Determine and monitor safety stock levels to balance product availability against inventory carrying costs
Manage inventory risk by identifying slow-moving, obsolete, or aging stock and developing mitigation plans with sales teams
Implement risk assessment protocols to anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions
Oversee the development of itemized statistical forecasts based on historical data, market intelligence, and product lifecycle changes
Collaborate with sales and marketing to incorporate promotional activities and new product launches into the demand plan
Manage the annual budgeting process for all supply chain operations, including logistics, warehousing, and planning overheads
Monitor actual expenditures against the budget, conduct variance analysis, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service levels
Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing total cost to serve, optimizing freight spend, and improving operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with a proven track record of managing S&OP cycles
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query) and experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
Strong cross-functional influence, analytical mindset, and the ability to build trust across organizational silos
Preferred
APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) is highly preferred
Familiarity with AI-driven forecasting tools is increasingly critical for 2026 roles
