Responsibilities

Actively participates in creating SOP’s
Define and lead platform-level integration and validation strategies for Command Edge
Establish best-practice test architecture patterns that development teams can consistently follow
Partner with platform engineers to improve testability, observability, and diagnosability of the system
Lead early hands-on validation of critical platform capabilities and integration paths
Enable and mentor developers to take increasing ownership of automated integration testing
Evaluate and establish new hardware and integration requirements based on product and market needs
Provide clear technical feedback that influences platform design and roadmap decisions
Balance speed and rigor to reduce late-cycle defects and field-discovered issues

Required

Competent level of communication – Great listener and effective written/verbal skills
Senior-level experience with software platforms, distributed systems, embedded systems, or IoT solutions
Strong systems-thinking across software, hardware, and cloud domains
Experience defining test strategies, quality architectures, or integration patterns beyond unit testing
Ability to lead through influence and technical credibility rather than formal authority
Comfort operating hands-on while also thinking architecturally
Experience mentoring engineers and shaping engineering practices
Familiarity with Linux-based systems and cloud-connected platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills
