Assistant Director of Ticket Operations
The University of Oregon is seeking an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations to oversee all ticketing operations for women's basketball and baseball. This role includes managing event creation, sales, and post-event reconciliation while providing leadership and mentorship to a team of student workers.

Responsibilities
Oversees and manages all ticketing operations for women’s basketball and baseball
Responsible for event creation, sales, post-event reconciliation, and cross-departmental collaboration
Hires, trains, schedules, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines a staff of approximately 18 student workers
Provides strong leadership and hands-on mentorship to deliver exceptional customer service
Develops and implements comprehensive training schedules, ensuring proper event staffing, and maintaining accountability and professionalism among student employees
Provides detailed ticket reports, analyzes sales trends for assigned sports, and prepares accurate event settlements
Works closely with ticket office leadership to strategize and manage day-to-day operations and serves as the primary point of contact for all cash handling and related financial deposits
Includes daily customer service responsibilities, such as monitoring inbound emails and assisting student workers with customer interactions and issue resolution
Provides gameday and fulfillment support for football as needed
Promotes the philosophy and objectives of the Intercollegiate Athletics Department and ensures compliance with all departmental policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University of Oregon, the Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA
Requires availability outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends, to support events and resolve ticketing needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
One year of fulltime ticket office experience
Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds
Current knowledge of NCAA rules
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing, or a related field
Ticket office experience at Division I athletic institution with sport oversight
Ticketmaster ticketing software experience
Donor-based priority seating program experience
Photoshop or InDesign experience
Supervision and hiring experience
