Quality Control Specialist

The Quality Control Specialist will analyze and resolve various draft, audit, and transaction challenges to support clients and the business, while also assisting with account underwriting and verification as needed.

Responsibilities
Update drafts per clients' requests
Research client files to identify transactional issues with payments and performance fees
Process requests from third parties related to clearing, pending, cancelling, and modifying creditor settlement payments
Contact creditors if the account is sold to another collection agency and attempt to reestablish the previous agreement
Process scheduled payments of negotiated settlements as well as audit for accuracy
Send refund or referral of fees requests to the accounting department
Other duties as required to support department operations
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or GED (required)
Must be detailed oriented
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Must demonstrate strong communication skills to work effectively with others
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Windows OS, and CRMs
Preferred
1-2 years' experience in a financial industry (collections, payment processing, mortgages, claims reconciliation) (preferred)
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
