Engineering Test Intern
RoboStruct Technologies is seeking an Engineering Test Intern to collaborate with engineers and industry experts in developing and testing hardware and firmware solutions. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to the company's mission of enhancing industrial operations.

Responsibilities
Develop test requirements and execute hardware verification test plans, including board-level functional testing, EMC validation, certification compliance (UL, ATEX, IECEx), and Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508)
Responsibilities include programming, analysis, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware prototypes, as well as contributing to product design documentation and test reports
Responsibilities include designing and developing automated test scripts, documenting and executing test procedures (manual and automated), verifying product functionality, creating test reports, supporting lab audits and improvements, and assisting with the build and commissioning of test firmware and hardware platforms
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
Basic programming skills in C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or LabVIEW
Fundamental understanding of circuit theory, including microprocessors, digital logic, analog circuits, DC power conversion, and programmable devices (CPLDs, FPGAs)
Experience with power electronics or motor systems
Familiarity with design capture tools and schematic interpretation
Exposure to tools such as CAD, Creo Parametric, ERP systems, 3D modeling software, SAP, MATLAB
Experience in industrial automation environments, including PLCs or drive programming
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
