Responsibilities

Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights that will inform business strategies and decisions
Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models and machine learning algorithms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Use statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning to uncover trends and patterns within the data
Prepare reports and presentations that effectively communicate your findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all security protocols and confidentiality requirements, adhering to industry standards and internal policies
Support senior leadership in strategic decision-making through advanced data-driven insights
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts

Required

US Citizenship Required
Active Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
At least 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a related data analysis role
Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis
Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Solid understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholder
Ability to work onsite in Norco, CA
If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
Experience working with classified government data or in a defense-related environment
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and data processing tools
Experience with DevOps practices and version control (Git, GitHub)
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Machine Learning experience is a plus
